WHAT DOG BREED ARE YOU?

Golden Retriever

You are a Golden Retriever! Laid-back, sociable and well-groomed, you’ve got your own hip little pack of groupies who just love to be around you. You have a brain inside that adorable little head of yours, though you use it mostly to organize your hectic social calendar. You never poop out at parties, and since you’re popular with ladies and men, as well as children and adults, you dish out your wit, charm and luck to whomever is close enough to bask in it. The top dog likes you and wants to be your best friend, despite the fact that he doesn’t really know what the heck you do. No one does, in fact, but everyone loves you all the same. A true foodie, you’ve got your keen ears fine-tuned to make sure you don’t miss out on the opening of a trendy new place to nosh. But your youthful days of being able to wolf down food 24-7 are wagging behind you, meaning you’ve got to watch what you eat so you don’t pull a Brando and outgrow your coats

Blowing steam off

Monday, December 7th, 2009

I really wonder where all the work ethics have gone some days.  It seems no one wants to go out of their way to get simple tasks done any more, nor do they want to help others.  At least it seems that way where I work lately.

We have gone on time share and instead of making a effort to work more diligently, it seems there is less work getting done and more chatter of I am not going out of my way to do this or that, it’s not my job.

It is not like we are unionized nor are we the government, we are in the private sector, and I am grateful that I still have a job, even tho I get one day off, with 60% of my pay being paid to me by the government.  (not such a bad deal).

But I feel many times, that I am the only one who, when the phones are quiet and I don’t have any orders or invoicing to do, I will go and look for other work to be get done.  The receptionist at one time use to help me with some of my filing and even take orders when it was busy, now she just ignores it and in silent protest returns any file I give her.

On days I am on my own taking orders, and all the other jobs I have to allow some calls to go to my voice mail, the receptionist get rather upset at this.  She knows how to take a message or even write up an order and give it to me later. she doesn’t do this, instead she gets more upset.  She did the same with my supervisor as well.

But my supervisor is not any better, when she is away, I cover her job and still do mine, but when I am away, my job doesn’t get done and I come back to the work still there.  And there are whispers of the same within the other area’s of work and workers, so I know it is not just me.

Will things change, not likely, will I stop working the way I do, no way.  But it felt good letting this out.

Put your Putter in your Pants Tiger Woods

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

So driving to work yesterday morning, I hear on the radio how this chick has handed over a tape recording of Tiger telling her to take her name off her cell phone as his wife is going through his phone and will probably give her a call.

First reaction from me, Tiger you should have kept your putter in your pants, but I find I am more angered with this chick.  It’s not like she didn’t know he was a married man and what she is doing now is disgraceful as far as I am concern and I have little if no sympathy for her.  She seems to be seeking recognition for her discretion.  I for one say shame on her and don’t give it to her.  Although the media will.

I was raised with ethics and morals and a code that women stuck together, we did not go out of our way to hurt another.  I have been in the situation of Tiger Wood’s wife and it is not a good feeling to know that one of your sisters has betrayed you.  This chick should hang her head in shame, in my books she is no better then him.

Men are known to have affairs and cheat, it is in their nature of being the hunters and the conquers.  But if the women they approach, with full knowledge of them being married, said no and crossed their legs, we would have less wives and families’ being hurt.

Bears

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

Sitting in my cubical at work, after returning from Forbidden, one of the best weekends this summer, one of the owners of the company came over and asked me how my weekend went and if I had seen any bears.  (laughs)

I got this look on my face and said, (Forbidden is held at a gay resort and many “bears - large hairy gay men” were there) I saw many and I must of blushed and giggled.  He looked oddly at me and then I explained to him what a bear was , where I was for the weekend. (Laughs)

I am not sure he will ever ask me questions again about my weekends…

Note: Careful what you ask me… you may not like the truth…
